2025-05

★ Reminder: I have an e-zine being sold thru my ko-fi page! more details on it are at the end of my last newsletter. ★

I mentioned in my last newsletter that I’m questioning the function of my current newsletter/website combo (and still am). I also mentioned that I will be sharing monthly playlists, which this newsletter will be about.

As part of my art practice, playlists are a form of journaling especially since most of my art-making process comes from working alongside music. The main form of playlists I’m sharing with y’all is one that helps me keep track of my recent music discoveries and songs that catch my attention. I typically document one month of listening at a time. There is also the possibility I’ll make special edition playlists, since I do have some ideas in mind. So, stay tuned…

With this iteration of the playlists, I think about posting them as something similar to a radio show, since I have been rotating out which playlists are “live” each month. That said, you can find songs from the previously shared playlist (2025-04) below, and check out the current playlist for the month (2025-05) here.

2025-04:

Tonight by Pink Pantheress

Sea of Cloud by Nujabes

Lucky Girl by Fazerdaze

loopi by Ramzi

Cuntology 101 by Lambrini Girls

Working On It (Instrumental) by Bread & Souls

P.S. I try to link the songs to their music videos, if one exists!
