TRANSplants Issue 1: Seattle
Growth and Decay
Hi! Welcome to my newsletter, Growth and Decay!
I’m Aster. You might know me from my writing, or perhaps I’m on your enemies list. Regardless, I’m glad you’re here.
This newsletter will serve as a way to offer updates on my writing, but I also plan to occasionally blog, and maybe even do some dorky data analysis. Expect about one email a month.

Upcoming: Performance Review novella
After TRANSplants Issue 1 comes out, I’ll be turning my attention to finalizing my novella, Performance Review, with a planned release in July or August. Read the back cover here:
Tim has a routine that works. He does his job at the Southern Free Republic Department of Health, drives home, goes to therapy, and then logs on to entertain his full-sim fans. But when his identity is stolen, he discovers the company he works for is keeping secrets, and as he investigates, he finds his carefully constructed life spiraling out of control.
Biannuaral beats. Black leather headsets. DNA Databases. Heatwaves and hurricanes. Pink and blue spirals. Fist sized isopods. Decay. Psychoviral-therapy. Disunion and war. All coil together to form an exploration of trans isolation and grief, dissociation and derealization, the fragility of state control, the cyclic nature of existence, and the way we persevere and move forward anyway.
That’s all for now, thanks for subscribing!
