Mars Watch, a revised almost-tenth-anniversary 2nd edition of my award-winning TTRPG The Watch (2017 Indie Game of the Year and 2018 Nominee for an Indie Groundbreaker Best Art Award) is coming to Kickstarter September 1st!

In Mars Watch, you’ll play the story of a military campaign against the Radiance - a paper-thin allegory for patriarchy and violent white supremacy. In this campaign, you're not playing to find out if you win. You're playing to find out what it will cost, and which of you will still be alive when it's all over. 

In addition to rules revisions and clarifications, Mars Watch has

• An all-new setting, with three included campaign scenarios

• New villains: the Shadow is now the Radiance, which is alternately fought and aided by the Mega-corporations.

• A future-forward take on gender that won't grow outdated, including mechanics more inclusive of non-binary trans mascs and trans men

• A new playbook: The Stag - one of the few male members of Mars Watch, and the only playbook explicitly about gender. The Stag focuses on caring for others and trying to build positive masculinity.

• 1000% less chill about patriarchy, white supremacy, and capitalism
