Introducing… Artefact Precision (https://artefactshop.com/products/artefact-precision)
Our first public release using our new Pokéshu box design, featuring a new matte-finish card that takes a much wider variety of pens. The pattern on the cards is a twin-weight isometric grid, in white on a yellow base on the front, then red on a white base on the reverse.

These Artefact Cards differ in two key ways: Matte Finish - Due to popular demand, in order to use other, finer pens types, we’ve experimented with a variety of matte-finish stocks to design a card that can be used with a much wider variety of pens. We’re shipping these with the Ultra Fine Sharpie (considerably thinner
The Pokéshu Box
We’ve been working hard to develop a better box for Artefact Cards for the last year, based on research and feedback. And the Pokéshu (or “pocket tool”) is the clear, wonderfully tactile winner. After testing a variation at the UX London conference this year, we’re delighted to offer it for sale for the first time. https://artefactshop.com/products/artefact-precision
Isometric Grid
Recently, we’ve been using isometric illustrations and techniques for drawing out ideas across a variety of our own projects, from data mapping to geographic metaphors. We felt it was high time we shared a set with the wider Artefact Cards community, to see what wonders you would make with them.

Matte Finish - Testing Process
After many enquiries on whether we could make Artefact Cards friendlier to other varieties of pens, we tested eight different stocks against seven popular pen types, before testing the best three stocks at UX London. These cards use the all-round stock from these tests, meaning you will be able to use your favourite pen to create precision artefacts. https://artefactshop.com/products/artefact-precision
