You may remember a wee while back, we emailed out about a Global Soccer Slammoff edition of Artefact Cards. We didn’t know why, we didn’t have an idea, really, more of a feeling that there was something to explore in this territory.
After much to-ing and fro-ing, making and pondering, we discovered a gem of an idea; a specially created box of eight different packs, each inspired by a different graphical design style from around the world, to help people explore their ideas based on approaches from different cultures; Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Japan, Holland, Greece & Switzerland. The grids, areas, segmentations, and lines that underpin design ethos across the globe.
What’s more, we collaborated with some extraordinarily talented friends to bring these to life in fantastic iterations; Faris Yakob, Anjali Ramachandran, Toby Barnes, Katy Jackson, Jesper Bröring, Betty Fishcake, and a young man called James Willshire…

There’s also a very pleasant surprise in there for those of you who asked for a return of the Ice Blue Graph…
They’re rolling into production as we speak, so I’d ask one thing of you all - we’ve a decision to make about how many boxes we do by end of play Thursday (26th), so if you are going to buy, please could you do it before then? It’s sometimes hard to gauge demand for short run things, and early ordering helps us a lot.
We hope you love using them as much as we’ve loved making them.
