A little context, and an added bank holiday special.

I've been looking through Drawing Ideas this weekend, an excellent book for novices and regular drawers alike. A style of figures in there made me think of seventies/eighties style sports iconography, so I just started playing around to see if I could replicate those. I was originally doing them in pencil with the kids,  then realised that the simplicity of the shapes made them perfect for Artefact Cards and Sharpies. So, spend this week either copying the sports every day, or go off an explore with the basic shapes, and see if you can depict other sports of your choosing.
