Men

Saliba has another MRI next week with a return targeted for December

Arteta says Saliba will have another MRI next week and that every sign so far has been very positive on the back injury that has kept him out all season. The Evening Standard expects him back in December.

Madueke says Mac Allister tried to bait him into a red card

Speaking to Viaplay after the match, Madueke said the head-to-head with Mac Allister late on was a natural movement and that his opponent was being clever in trying to get him sent off.

Rice says Arteta told him at the start of the season that he can do more

Rice said Arteta had an honest conversation with him and still thinks he can do more in this shirt. The cross for Havertz at Anfield was Rice's fifth Premier League assist of the season.

Academy

Ozhianvuna says goodbye to Shamrock Rovers before joining Arsenal in January

The midfielder, who turns 18 in January, joins the academy then under a deal agreed in October 2025 and reported to be worth about £1.7m. He has made 37 senior appearances for Shamrock Rovers but has not played since May with a back injury.

De Maesschalck gives his first interview as academy director

Three months after succeeding Per Mertesacker, the Belgian told Sporza that recruitment is the most important part of the job and that Arteta has clearly expressed his support for giving young players a chance.
