… even if it is the same email, you aren’t the same man.
Wait, here is the original quote -
No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man. – Heraclitus (Greek philosopher)
I was skimming through this book called The book of Ichigo Ichie last week which talks about the importance of living in the present.
And I came through that quote, which has been in my head ever since. With every journey and with every meal, I think about this and try to enjoy it more. As it will never be the same again.
We take pictures of the food 📸 and post it on social media. Then what? Enjoy the meal or spend time to life-sucking social media feed?
Few quotes from the book that interested me
Each tea ceremony should be treated with great attention because it is ichigo ichie, which is to say, a unique encounter in time.
Becoming aware of ichigo ichie helps us take our foot off the gas and remember that each morning we spend in the world, every moment we spend with our children and with our loved ones is infinitely valuable and deserves our full attention

Honestly, this doesn’t use the tools I’ve talked about in my last email.
It uses logseq-publish. Its easier for me this way as I already use Logseq for my notes.
That’s all for this Tuesday.
See you in a week 👋
