Go concurrency & beyond

Hi! Long time no see. Hope you are doing well.

I'm Anton. I work on open source and write interactive technical guides.

You're receiving this email because you subscribed to my updates at antonz.org/subscribe. If you'd like to unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of this email.

Since the last issue, I've finally finished my interactive book/course — Gist of Go: Concurrency. Check it out if you want to really learn concurrent programming, not just read about it.

Here are some stats:

In the meantime, I kept working on the Accepted! series, where I explain Go proposals and features in simple terms. Five new posts so far:

Plus, a dedicated guide about catching goroutine leaks with both synctest (Go 1.25) and the upcoming goroutineleak profile (Go 1.26).

Totally unrelated to Go, I created interactive playgrounds for five "better C" languages: C3, Hare, Odin, V, and Zig. You can try them online, embed them on your own website, or self-host and customize.

That's all for now. See you soon, and happy New Year if you celebrate!

Anton
