A fun poetry collaboration opportunity
Dear lovely reader fam,
This isn’t my normal monthly newsletter, but I have a special treat in honor of National Poetry Month coming up in April. After you read the poem, please scroll to the bottom for my quick call to action. Without further ado, Here’s the poem called Scribbles got Soul.
Scribbles Got Soul
When I get home
I’m in the zone
I got lines so divine
I can call my own
I just know
I’m in the flow
I’m on a roll
Cause my scribbles got soul
They’re full of faith
I write with grace
With fragments and scribbles all over the place.
A fun question for you
Do you think this poem should be set to music? If so, I’m looking for someone who sings either alto or second/Mezzo soprano to collaborate on a fun project with me. I’ve started producing a Jazz beat to go with the tune, so if you like Jazz and you fit the criteria above, I want to hear from you. I also want to hear from you if you think the poem should be set to music. The lucky person who volunteers to collaborate with me will receive my poetry book entitled The Spirit of Creativity in the format of your choice. Happy reading and I’ll drop back into your inbox in April for my monthly newsletter.
Blessings,
Ann Harrison
