My take on the medium is the message.

Perhaps you have seen or read about the CEO of this platform being interviewed recently and talking about one of the new features, but also revealing what we really new all along: the platform isn’t going to do anything meaningful about curbing hate, racism, and bigotry, including in this new feature.
It is bad enough that this platform already allows hate, racism, and bigotry, to be published via the newsletter and podcasting features. But at a time when people are trying to flee another platform full of hate, racism, and bigotry, to launch a competing feature, and not claim to actively be fighting it, is unacceptable and I can’t continue to provide content here.
My message is muddied by the very platform I place it on, so I need to be behind what that platform stands for, or my message is meaningless.
I have some ideas where I’ll go, but haven’t landed on a definitive solution. I can export all my content here and re-host it, I just need to find the right workflow for handling an email newsletter + content hosting. That may become part of my weblog, or an accompanying piece of it.
Regardless, if you stay subscribed here, you will make it to the new platform, as I can export subscribers too. So, the choice is up to you now.
