Hi all,

Hope you are well and sorry for the delay. The last two weeks have been crazy - I had my practicum project here in Nashville for spiritual direction, then had a team onsite and I’m finally getting back into a somewhat normal rhythm.

What’s got my attention lately

1. Finishing my TBR (To Be Read). I finally got my bookshelves organized and realized I have about 200-300 books I need to finish reading (I stopped counting when I hit 200). You can follow along on StoryGraph if you want to. Right now, I’m trying to finish Orbital.

2. Last week, I went to see Austin Kleon at a book signing for his new book, Don’t Call It Art. He’s as nice in person as he is on his newsletter. Sometimes you should meet your heroes.

3. Fridge poetry, but on the internet.

4. The weather, according to what color the sky was yesterday.

5. This video by Lynda Barry. I have loved Lynda’s books and was excited to find this video of her explaining an exercise to get into writing.
