Greetings AnimeChicago Supporters –
2020 felt like both the longest and shortest year in history. Despite that, our team navigated uncertainty and logistical challenges like a boss. Read about it here.

Monthly meetups Anime Circle, Manga Circle, and Mixers have continued online through the pandemic. We also host two weekly events: Deep Dive, where we stream hard-to-find anime, and Art Circle, where you can work on your artistic passion with friends.

Haven’t attended in a while? Here’s how to join us on Discord.

Most importantly, we’re hosting .future/now: Anime’s Connection to Online Worlds on Saturday, March 6th, at 2 PM CST!

Our fifth symposium features three talks linking our “new normal” to online worlds in anime classics like Serial Experiments: Lain and video game-inspired adventures. Tickets are free, with a suggested donation of $10. We’d be happy to have you there!

 👉 RSVP for FREE!

AnimeChicago is made possible through our supporters’ donations. Last year was rough all around, and even $5 helps us promote Japanese Pop Culture through these hardships. Donate here.

We hope to see you at an event soon, space cowfolk!
