Tonight! Lessons and Carols at 6pm!
The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols tells the story of Christmas through a series of readings from the Bible. It begins in Genesis with the Fall of Humanity, and the earliest promises of Redemption through Jesus the Messiah. It highlights the hopes of the Old Testament prophets until the birth of Christ, as told by the Gospels. As the name of the service implies, every reading is followed by a response in the form of a carol or hymn.

Confirmation: if you are not confirmed (receiving the laying on of hands and anointing with oil for the strengthening of the gifts of the spirit) and you are interested in being confirmed by the bishop, please let me know, as I will be planning the follow up to our class focusing on the process of confirmation.
