Issue #2
Welcome to the "first" HN Arcade newsletter! I don't count the initial issue. My wife (not a gamer or HN user) was the only subscriber :) But now we have a handful of readers, and thanks for joining!
The response to HN Arcade has been incredible. In just three weeks, nearly 40 people have submitted over 50 games, and thousands are exploring the directory.
My goals are simple:
- Give indie developers a place to showcase their work
- Help players discover games they'll love
I'm planning to send these on Fridays (when people might actually have time to play), but I'm open to feedback. Most other newsletters I subscribe to send them on Wednesdays/Thursdays ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Finally, I'd love to talk to game developers featured in the newsletter. If you've built something that's been on HN, reach out, I'd enjoy hearing your story and we can share it via this newsletter.
