Hi y’all,

The wonderful Julia Rios of Worlds of Possibility recently released Worlds of Possibility Volume 2 as a free ebook here. My (very short) story “Fix It, Remember It, Undo It” is included in this ebook, and I’d be thrilled if you took the chance to read it and the other wonderful pieces in the book.

This is a story with a lot of fun memories for me—it’s one of the first stories I sent to my beloved writing group when we were all just starting to meet up pre-pandemic. I also love playing around with technology in stories, and this was one case where I got to mix current technology with magic. I hope you like it.

I’ll have a story called “Stitching Time” out next month in Flame Tree’s A Breath of Time anthology! And this time perhaps I will manage to get a newsletter out in the same year that that happens!

Short Story Log

I really enjoyed “Trader” by Sam Asher in Bourbon Penn, especially with the Southern Illinois shoutout. I also loved “Last Train from Deadwall” by André Geleynse in Beneath Ceaseless Skies. It really made me feel something, and the ending made me say "yeah" out loud.
