Weekly Dispatch Blotter Highlights: Issue #19 Someone stole caller’s snow plow
Every week, Leelanau county’s (where our cabin is located) weekly newspaper, Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. These are the highlights.
These are all real calls.

Wednesday, Dec. 9
10:52 a.m. — Kasson Township — Subject is making threats via Facebook and text. Caller request to speak to deputy about other options to take.
Thursday, Dec. 10
1:39 a.m. — Elmwood Township — 23-year-old male wandering around. Stealing stuff off porches. Wearing black hoodie with jeans.
Friday, Dec. 11
12:39 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone stole caller’s snow plow.
5 p.m. — Centerville Township — Party being thrown tonight with kids positive for COVID. Underage drinking info was passed along to all law enforcement.
Saturday, Dec. 12
1:41 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle unable to make it up the hill. Was able to get vehicle turned around and headed back down the hill.
2:56 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller received notification that her credit report had an unauthorized attempted use. Caller was not out any money.
Monday, Dec. 14
8:29 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports identity theft. Was looking up history on self on county search and noticed two addresses that were not associated with him. Needs police report filed.
6:43 p.m. — Bingham Township — Son has been outside for three hours. (Subject found on Lakeview Hills near M-22.)
10:30 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller saw video of people breaking into SugarLoaf on Snapchat.
