Throbbing Cabin is in Leelanau County whose local weekly newspaper, the Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. Additional reporting by The Ticker.

Wednesday, Feb. 23
9:29 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller thinks she may be having an emotional breakdown and would like her checked on.
4:29 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller wants to speak with law enforcement regarding a video.
Thursday, Feb. 24
12:37 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is hearing what sounds like a radio broadcast coming from across the road from her address. (Unfounded per law enforcement.)
2:23 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Person with a flashlight is coming closer to the house from the water side. Can’t see if it’s male or female.
Friday, Feb. 25
8:40 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller’s ex is standing outside her residence and won’t leave. Caller said he has left but she is not sure if he is on foot or in his truck.
Saturday, Feb. 26
2:31 a.m. — Leland Township — Son is calling demanding that his mother be woken up so that he can speak with her. Staff is refusing to do so and has asked that he call back in the morning. (Deputy spoke with the son who stated his brother has died. That’s why he needed to speak to mother tonight. Death notification made.)
4:35 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Four horses on the road. Traveled into Grand Traverse County.
7:11 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller hit horse on M-72 on her way to work. Phone was almost dead so she called when she got back home.
1:57 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Overdose. Patient drank hand sanitizer.
Sunday, Feb. 27
6:16 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller and sister are stuck on bluff. Too icy to get off. Caller is 150 feet down. Sister it 10 feet down. Feet are wet. No boots. Both 21. (Both subjects rescued. Everyone is accounted for and clear of the bluff.)
Monday, Feb. 28
3:16 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller would like to speak to law enforcement regarding threats on Facebook.
5:23 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller would like to speak with law enforcement about a road rage incident that occurred. Blue truck. Will send video of vehicle.
Thursday, March 3
8:09 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller advised that his boss threatened to hit him yesterday and is harassing him again today.
11:13 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller needs help transferring wife from wheelchair to vehicle to take her to Munson for surgery.
3:31 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Mirror, clock and lightboard stolen by employees.
4:49 p.m. — Centerville Township — Windows were smashed and purse is gone. Car was at Good Harbor Beach.
8:51 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Someone is shining a spotlight at the house across the road from the caller’s.
Friday, March 4
11:44 a.m. — Bingham Township — Deer fell through the ice.
5:24 p.m. — Leland Township — White Impala has two dogs in it. Vehicle is not running.
Saturday, March 5
12:41 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Red Chevy southbound. Swerving over the center line driving in wrong lane. (Driver was eating lunch and not paying attention to the road.)
3:54 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller saw two beagles running in the roadway. No one was around. Caller didn’t stay in their area.
4:51 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller found female German Shepherd on her back porch. Black collar, no tags. Right eye problems. (Owner was located.)
5:13 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Ongoing problem with a vehicle parked on parents’ property.
Sunday, March 6
1:01 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller heard “crunching” steps outside of her window and her motion detector light went on near her garage. (Law enforcement did a walk around the house and garage. Nothing suspicious.)
7:53 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Water 1 ½ feet deep in the roadway. Fire department putting out signs. Would like signage.
12:50 p.m. — Leland Township — Housekeeper found a loaded gun in the room.
Wednesday, March 9
12:44 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Suspicious vehicle. Deputy checking on it. Having a “friendly chat.”
3:57 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller heard husband yelling. He fell and is bleeding from the head.
8:13 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Man fell and hit his head. Passed out and is now feeling nauseous.
Thursday, March 10
12:43 a.m. — Elmwood Township — People on the TART Trail close behind her house. Caller is concerned that they may be trespassing in neighbors yard or hers due to the dogs barking loudly and the motion lights going off. (Officer checked the perimeter of the residence. No signs of footprints or subjects in the area.)
10:31 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Deputy called out for a large dog in the roadway. Animal control officer called. However, deputy reported that a female driver arrived and collected her dog.
1:09 p.m. — Kasson Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.
2:02 p.m.— Empire Township — Caller has an old boyfriend from years ago. Keeps trying to enter caller’s life. Has been tracking caller online. Calls husband. Sent letter about her life. Got another letter today.
2:23 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller went to check on house. Can’t get in. Hears water running. Sees ceiling is collapsed. Cedar Fire entered at the request of the homeowner who was in Alpena. Found source of water and shut it off.
Friday, March 11
11:52 p.m. —Centerville Township — Caller had a female subject at his residence without permission. She has a key. Caller was advised by his attorney to put a “no trespassing” sign on door. Female moved out about a week ago. Caller states this is an ongoing issue and has already spoken about it to law enforcement.
Saturday, March 12
7:40 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Couple of kids 15 and 12 maybe. North of Lakeview Hills, west side of the road. Said they were looking for a dog, but it seemed odd and out of place. Have flashlights, walking northbound. Partially camo clothes.
8:58 p.m. — Leland Township — Someone is pounding on caller’s door. Turning the knob. No car. Not responding to verbal cues. Five people in the house.
Sunday, March 13
3:31 a.m. — Leland Township — Son should have been home. Went to the YMCA. Phone goes right to voicemail. (Son found. Staying with friends and did not advise parents.)
8:20 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Family trouble.
Monday, March 14
3:47 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — School bus swerving all over the road. There were also kids sticking their heads out of the window.
5:09 p.m. — Leland Township — Friendly dog, big sheep dog, in the middle of the road. Chasing cars. No tags on collar.
10:56 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Juvenile wandered from home. Possibly heading south. (Juvenile is back at home with parents.)
Tuesday, March 15
9:05 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Yesterday caller let friend borrow her car and they never brought it back.
7:54 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male half said family is stealing stuff from house. Female got on the phone and says the items belong to her. (Parties separated for the night. Verbal argument over dead relatives belongings.)
