Tuesday, April 9

                  11:22am 4/9/2024 Citizen Assist Cedar, Caller was driving by and saw landscaping crews

blowing debris into the road, not sure if they were leaving it in the road or not but had questions about the legality of that.

7:28pm 4/9/2024 Info Leelanau Cty., Woman was taking “the back way home” when she passed by the condos and two young boys were throwing rocks near the road. 

Wednesday, April 10

9:42 a.m. — Leelanau Township Caller recently purchased a home and installed a privacy fence. Been receiving unhappy text messages from neighbors.

7:22 p.m. — Bingham Township Caller had account hacked.

Thursday, April 11

6:44 a.m. — Leelanau Township Caller is in California. Received an alert saying there was a human intrusion. Caller thought it looked like people moving around on her camera. (Caller called back to say there at contractors present.)

8:40pm 4/11/2024 Citizen Assist Leland Twp., Downstairs neighbors are fighting.

Friday, April 12

10:03 p.m. Caller noticed a hissing sound by her house. Seems like the line from the propane tank to the house might be leaking.

Saturday, April 13

5:48 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller reports someone walking around in the community room. (Everything seems to be OK per law enforcement.) Caller called again stating there were people walking around she did not recognize.

12:30pm 4/13/2024 Fire Structure Maple City, Fire in caller’s attic last night but it is out now and wants it checked; no smoke or flames now.

6:18 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller smells chemicals outside but doesn’t know what is causing it.

7:19pm 4/13/2024 Citizen Assist Leland, There is a bear behind the park, caller is worried, seems to be “acting weird”. 

8:05 p.m. — Elmwood Township Caller reports someone firing large caliber shots to the northwest. Thinks it might be off Dalzell Road.

11:21 p.m. — Kasson Township House is full of gas. Occupants have evacuated to the barn. Caller has shut off gas to the home. Homeowner will stay elsewhere for the night.         

Sunday, April 14

3:58am 4/14/2024 Threats Lake Leelanau Caller received threatening text. Wanted it put on the record. Spoke with 45-15.

9:47am 4/14/2024 MDOP S West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller reporting fence ripped off the fence post and damage to the actual fencing, tire marks leading up to the fence. 

Monday, April 15

1:38pm 4/15/2024 Animal Control Leelanau Cty., Found a dead goat behind his house.

3:49 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Found iPhone near recycling center.

Thursday, April 18

6:26am 4/18/2024 Suspicious Incident Elmwood Twp., Ex boyfriend is in the driveway, doesn’t want him to come in the house. Will call for a civil standby next week to collect the rest of the belongings. 

Friday, April 19

5:07pm 4/19/2024 911 Hangup Kasson Twp., Said hello, no other conversation, call back left voicemail. No emergencies here

11:33 p.m. — Elmwood Township Vehicle in the gas station parking lot. (Driver just fixing his headlight.)

Saturday, April 20

10:17 a.m. — Elmwood Township Caller withdrew money and sent it to scammers.

12:59pm 4/20/2024 Stalking Leelanau Cty., Caller is in the middle of a divorce and found airtags in his vehicles over the last couple of months.

9:13 p.m. — Bingham Township Caller reports a man showed up at their house covered in paint. He said he was just doing a job and his partner left him. However, he needed to get back to South Airport Road in Traverse City. Caller concerned for man’s wellbeing.

Sunday, April 21

12:21 a.m. — Elmwood Township Caller is looking for advice on what to do with a friend he was letting stay with him. He no longer wants him there.

1:05pm 4/21/2024 MDOP Maple City, Between Friday noon and this morning someone graffitied on inside basement wall. 

1:59 p.m. — Elmwood Township Neighbor saw female leave several hours ago. Her car is not there. She is not answering the door.

3:53 p.m. — Empire Township Young caller. Bad connection. Could make out something about father needing help.

9:25 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township Large bonfire on beach. Kind of in the woods. There are cars in the parking lot with tents as well. (Putting out fire and breaking up camp. Illegal camping and they are departing.

Monday, April 22

1:24 p.m. — Leland Township Something possibly on fire. Caller drove up closed to investigate and the call dropped. Leaves are on fire. Half-acre.

2:24 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller found a wooden gate with a trailer plate attached. (. (Made contact with owner of the gate. Returned it.)

2:31 p.m. —Centerville Township Construction sign lying in the southbound lane of the road. (Sign was put back up before arrival and is off the road.)
