Tuesday, Jan. 16
11:10am 1/16/2024 Fire Gas Leak Suttons Bay Twp., GBF called direct about an odor investigation at the medicine lodge. Waiting on maintenance unfounded.
Wednesday, Jan. 17
11:04 a.m. — Empire Township Caller in parking lot. Was assaulted, tackled and punched.
1:21 p.m. — Kasson Township Man was in his driveway unloading trash. Went out with his dog. Dog was barking at man. When confronted man said he would kill the dog.
1:29 p.m. — Leland Township Employee is stealing groceries, lottery tickets.
2:10 p.m. — Bingham Township Caller’s fiance is being harassed and threaten by ex.
Thursday, Jan. 18
4 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller reports there’s a female in front of her house walking around and talking loudly. At one point the female was laying on the ground under a pine tree.
9:56 a.m. — Kasson Township Student left with his grandmother about 30 minutes ago, Was acting out. Threatened to jump out of the moving car.
Friday, Jan. 19
2:50 a.m. — Elmwood Township Alarm going off. Water has been shut off and someone will have to come in the morning for repairs.
9:24 a.m. — Centerville Township Someone dropped trusses in the middle of the road in front of this house blocking the plow truck.
2:21 p.m. — Bingham Township Snowmobile on fire.
Saturday, Jan. 20
2:29 p.m. — Elmwood Township Caller was out in his driveway. Went across the street to move neighbors trash can. Neighbor called him a derogatory name.
10:11 p.m. — Elmwood Township Caller’s neighbor says that someone is walking around her house.
Sunday, Jan. 21
3:16 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Person has been in the parking lot of the lodge blasting music from his car since 1 a.m. (Law enforcement made contact. Subject is going inside for the night.)
Monday, Jan. 22
1:21pm 1/22/2024 Fraud Leelanau Cty., Received text from a person who said they were his pastor, asked him to purchase 6 $100 gift cards.
Tuesday, Jan. 23
3:52 p.m. — Leelanau Township Credit card fraud. Company requires a police report.
5:37 p.m. — Bingham Township Chain on the garage door needs someone to check it. Marks on the door where something was pried.
Wednesday, Jan. 24
2:16 a.m. — Leelanau Township Car parked at Northport marina. Looks like it’s been there for a few days.
2:26pm 1/24/2024 Traffic Violation Lake Leelanau, Subject went across road with snowmobile, did not look– this is an ongoing problem.
Thursday, Jan. 25
5:28 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller hit a deer with his Prius.
10:16am 1/25/2024 Identity Theft Solon Twp., Received a call from an auditor from SOS said his identity was being used.
10:44am 1/25/2024 Road Hazard S West-Bay Shore Dr., Dead coyote in the middle of the road.
11:54am 1/25/2024 Citizen Assist E Cherry Bend Rd., Called 911 for a cab.
Friday, Jan. 26
7:14 a.m. — Leland Township Caller attempted to drive up hill. Slid down. Got stuck.
10:09 a.m. — Empire Township Video survellience of subject avoiding cameras.
1:16 p.m. — Bingham Township Neighbor has tractor tracks into caller’s road. Demands to see someone.
4:20 p.m. — Leland Township Someone got a hold of sex offender registry. Threatened caller with bond.
Saturday, Jan. 27
10:24pm 1/27/2024 Suspicious Person Leelanau Cty., Unknown male is inside one of the unoccupied buildings on the property.
Sunday, Jan. 28
2:31 a.m. — Cleveland Township Caller was defrauded out of $13,000.
10:08pm 1/28/2024 Suspicious Incident S West-Bay Shore Dr., Grand Am pulled into caller’s driveway, there were 2 people in the vehicle. They attempted to take his company truck.
Monday, Jan. 29
2:47am 1/29/2024 Suspicious Incident E Cherry Bend Rd., Someone is knocking on the door, caller’s truck door is open.
7:17am 1/29/2024 Citizen Assist E Cherry Bend Rd., Male caller stated a female was knocking on his door.
6:06 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Subject refuses to leave the casino.
6:45pm 1/29/2024 Suspicious Incident E Cherry Bend Rd., Caller’s daughter saw a man try to open the window in her bedroom.
Tuesday, Jan. 30
4:44 p.m. — Bingham Township Bank opened a card in caller’s name. Caller needs a report.
4:46 p.m. — Solon Township Caller is missing two handguns belonging to her husband.
