TikTok, magazine interviews, and a brief summary of my summer

Dear Internet,
I’ll make this short and sweet!
First, I’m on TikTok! Episode 0 dropped the other day of my new project. Starting in a few weeks, I’ll be reading Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice with annotations and possibly some swears and those will be posted on Tuesday and Thursdays. Episode 0 was 3:58 long so the goal is to keep future videos roughly around that time frame. These videos will be cross posted across my Jane Austen Empire. So, if you’re not on TT, you can catch the videos on FB and IG.
Second, Nerd Girl Industries is also on TikTok! I dropped that first episode also on the same day as @heroineinabook. With this TT account, it’ll be weekly updates of what’s going on in my business which has been picking up. I’m hustling all over the place and frankly, I love it. I’ve also got my fingers in other pots and while the income stream is not consistent, I love what I’m doing. It is very clear I am not cut out for corporate life.
Third, Voyage Michigan reached out to interview me and that just went up.
Other than that, we’re all good! I’m putting myself out there for my business and hustling across other industries. Mr. Lisa and Thursday are doing well. Crazy we’ve been up here for nearly three months already. We’re heading back to KY in a few weeks for a week to catch up on doctors’ appointments and the like and then we’re back up here until at least late October. We’ll know by that time (I really fucking hope) if we’re going to be up here this winter.
Oh! Family is going to be here Labor Day weekend so the next issue will be September 8, 2024, unless something major happens.
