A Most Unreliable Narrator Issue #106.25 I'm not saying goodbye

Welcome to A Most Unreliable Narrator, the slice-of-life newsletter of GenXer around town, Lisa Rabey. I talk about anything and everything with a bit of swears. I’m glad you’re here.

Dear internet,

Ciao is used informally for “hello” and “goodbye” in Italian. I used it both ways in my post and also on FB and people were getting concerned I was shuffling off this digital mortal coil. I’m not going anywhere. I couldn’t leave if I tried and by god, have I tried.

Also, the link to Bella Ciao Ciao Ciao is an Italian anti-fascist resistance song from WWII. It’s catchy. You should give it a whirl.

Ciao,

Lisa x

(Fuck fascists and Nazis!)
