Wednesday, Nov. 16
1:05 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller set bathroom on fire. Caller put fire out with toilet water.
Thursday, Nov. 17
4:59 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller had bad diarrhea so they took a drug with codeine and is worried.
Friday, Nov. 18
7:20 p.m. — Bingham Township — Smaller car driving recklessly. Almost caused a head-on collision.
Saturday, Nov. 19
5:46 p.m. — Bingham Township — Charter bus is stuck at the corner of Shady Lane and Center Highway. Road Commission throwing sand and assisting motorist.
Sunday, Nov. 20
7:36 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Man appears to be passed out in vehicle. Sideways in the handicapped spot. (Arrested for operating while intoxicated.)
Monday, Nov. 21
2:45:57am 11/21/2022 Car Deer Suttons Bay, Called out over air, struck deer in patrol car.
2:50 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller reports ongoing problem with neighbors dogs running around on caller’s yard and porch.
3:17 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports there are often chicken in the roadway on Sylt Road. They are a traffic hazard when pulling onto Sylt.
11:38:47pm 11/21/2022 Building Check Leelanau Cty., Ceiling lights on in kitchen and living room, hasn’t been in the house since October. Will be entering residence for structure check.

8:48:20am 11/23/2022 Citizen Assist Empire Twp., Glen Lake called over air, going to help with a bloody nose.
12:34:31pm 11/23/2022 Citizen Assist S West-Bay Shore Dr., Evaluated female patient at Toms.
3:11:53pm 11/23/2022 Drive Off S West-Bay Shore Dr., Drive off from Holiday. Made contact, they will be returning.
6:07:23pm 11/23/2022 Suspicious Vehicle Leelanau Cty., Disabled motorhome partly in the roadway, been there a few hours, lights are dimming, appears to be abandoned. Spoke with the RO, they will be moving it soon; they are leaving for Florida.
6:57:59pm 11/23/2022 Gunshots Empire Twp., Caller reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area and would like it checked out. Update: sat in the area for a while, did not hear any gunshots.
8:54:43pm 11/23/2022 Citizen Assist Empire Twp., Caller is reporting subject has house key and won’t give it back.
Thursday, Nov. 24
9:18:52am 11/25/2022 Harassment N West-Bay SHore Dr., Caller says his former girlfriend is in the parking lot and he doesn't want to confront her or be harassed by her.
6:16 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller has not been able to reach subject since yesterday. Always calls her on Thanksgiving. Last spoke to him opening day. (Subject reached. Will call his mom.)
10 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Someone was just trying to get in the front door. Door jiggled twice within 30 seconds. No vehicles around and didn’t see anyone. (Per law enforcement, no footprints around the home.)
Friday, Nov. 25
11:08 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller can see someone on his ring camera that he doesn’t recognized. (Alarm company called back to say caller finally recognized the person there and made contact with them. No need for response.)
12:21 p.m. — Empire Township — Dog has been loose in the neighborhood. Currently chasing neighbor’s horses. Short, black-haired dog. (Law enforcement unable to locate dog.)
6:38 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Subject has been loitering in the area for two hours. Wandering the area. (Taken into protective custody.)
Saturday, Nov. 26
10:04 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller was walking with leashed dog on the beach. Saw another dog in the area that was unleashed, so started walking the other way. Dog continued to attack his dog.
6:07:57pm 11/26/2022 Suspicious Incident Glen Arbor Twp., Closed shop and went to the market. When she returned she heard a commotion and is nervous to re-enter. Making entry into the shop, building is secure.
11:52 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Loud party woke up the caller from a dead sleep. Would like it quieted down in the area.
Sunday, Nov. 27
11:46:01pm 11/27/2022 Fire/Gas Leak Kasson Twp., Caller smells a funny odor in the house, can’t find the source. Might be the furnace, possibly propane. 2 story, nothing showing, no gas presented throughout the house.
Wednesday, Nov. 30
10:01 a.m. — Centerville Township — Cow was in the road on Eitzen Road. Got spooked and ran into the nearby woods. (Cow was retrieved by owner.)
4:45 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller’s girlfriend got home and found a strange vehicle in the driveway. (Caller called back to say it was someone looking for another address.)
4:48 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller heard a loud noise and looked out the window to see a truck upside down in her driveway.
Thursday, Dec. 1
2:40 a.m. — Elmwood Township — People in the backyard trying to set caller’s house on fire. Contact made with daughter-in-law who will be staying with caller for the night.
2:32 p.m. — Leland Township — Woman on a bike trying to break into garage. Has a backpack and winter hat.
Saturday, Dec. 3
10:11:35am 12/3/2022 MDOP Suttons Bay, Reporter in lobby. Reporting vandalism to her outdoor Christmas decorations. Second time it occurred, wires cut. Has the pieces with her.
1:03:52pm 12/3/2022 Suspicious Incident Leland Twp., Caller believes uncle dumped something in his gas tank.
Sunday, Dec. 4
8:17:11am 12/4/2022 Counterfeiting Turtle Creek Casino, Counterfeit bill passed at casino.
8:19:13am 12/4/2022 Larceny Leelanau Cty., Larceny of meds.
Monday, Dec. 5
9:54:06am 12/5/2022 Medical Alarm N Manitou Trl., Spoke with patient, he is at his residence in Florida. He will contact them and advise them he is in Florida.
10:56 a.m. — Leland Township — Former sister-in-law locked herself inside caller’s home.
3:52 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller left backpack at estranged wife’s last night. Contents were strewn along the highway.
9:18:05pm 12/4/2022 Animal Control Lost N Jacobson Rd., Two Great Pyrenees, one wearing a blue coat.
10:13 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports a boy came to her house trying to sell eggs. She also saw he went to neighbors’ houses. Caller thought it was suspicious because his vehicle had an outof-state
Tuesday, Dec. 6
5:27 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller has been receiving texts since last night from an unknown person. Started general and then escalated now they state they were a police officer and that someone was trying to hurt her.
6:07:52pm 12/6/2022 Citizen Assist Lake Leelanau, Caller says there are two persons that refuse to leave her apartment. Been there approximately one week.
Wednesday, Dec. 7
1:03 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller has some very serious sensitive business documents that an individual needs to sign. Requests law enforcement can go to his address and attempt to go to address and wake up the person whose signature is needed.
5:38 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller woke up confused. Didn’t recognize where he was. After being asked if he knew where he lived, the caller started to realize he did recognize the room. (No further assistance needed.)
11:33:03am 12/7/2022 Larceny Maple City, Light bar was taken off a jobsite yesterday at 11 am.
Friday, Dec. 9
11:15 a.m. — Kasson Township — Eight or nine ponies loose. (Horses were captured
12:16 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Wine-colored car parked in front of the church and person is just blowing the horn.
9:09 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller lent his vehicle to an employee who won’t give it back.
9:48 p.m. — Bingham Township — Someone is ringing caller’s doorbell and she’s too afraid to go look out the window to see if anyone is there. (Law enforcement reports residence secure.)
Saturday, Dec. 10
11:49 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Wife was getting ready to leave work around 9:45 p.m. to head home and caller hasn’t been able to get contact since. She’s not home. Caller has already spoke to Grand Traverse County Dispatch. (Caller called back stating his wife has texted him and all is OK. No further assistance needed.)
Sunday, Dec. 11
11:36 a.m. — Kasson Township — Caller heard a suspicious “bang.” Thinks a car hit a sign and/or purple truck. Thinks it was an orange car. Second caller reported someone drove through her yard and struck her son’s truck. Identified vehicle as a yellow Jeep Wrangler. Glen Lake/M-22 directional sign at the intersection. (Driver evaluated for possible seizure while driving.)
8:58 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Group of two females and one male has been rinking and refusing to leave after being asked. (Unwanted subjects left.)
