Long time no see. For whatever reason, August / September always seem to be particularly busy months and times of great change for me. This year has been no different.

- ⛰ I hadn't taken an extended vacation (longer than a long weekend) in a while. Last week I went to Colorado with my family for a much-needed offline disconnect.
- 🏡 Then a few days after getting back, I closed on my first house! It's still quite surreal.
- 💐 Now I'm halfway to Baltimore to go to one of my best college friend's wedding.
- 📦 After that, Gatsby has given me some time off to pack up and move, and deal with all the things for the house. I'm incredibly grateful for that.
- ✈️ A couple weeks after that, it will be time for the Gatsby Gathering in London!
In the midst of all this change, my routine has been quite disrupted. I'm trying to enjoy all the change and travel while I can, but I look forward to mid-October where I can focus on work and enjoy settling into my new home.

☕️ A11y Coffee
I have had this idea for a small project for a while now, just had never gotten around to putting it together (sound familiar to anyone?) I wanted to have a landing page with the minimum introduction to web accessibility that I think every web developer should have. This link will be my answer when someone asks, "How do I get started with web accessibility?"
It's not completely finished, but I have a good start on it at a11y.coffee. I'll probably tweet it out sometime next week. It has four "servings" of information on web accessibility, designed to be progressive in detail and effort.
