Odds and Ends
It has been a good week. I mean, aside from it being hotter than hell.
Surprising, yes. And informative, too.
I’ve got a poem coming out in The Deadlands in July! I can’t wait for you to read it. It’s a piece I was glad to find a home for. I’ve been writing a lot of new poems, lately, too. Occasionally, I post one on Tumblr. But I’ve got goals, and most of them are earmarked for other things. *gleefully rubs hands together*
I finally decided on a new carryon for traveling, which…there are so many options that my brain short circuited. I had to ask for help. Narrowed it down to four, then went with the best fit for what I wanted. Bonus: I didn’t have to spent $400, because no. (It’s a Travelpro Maxlite, fwiw.)
I’m so excited for a lot of things. And that feels nice. I’ll share what I can, when I can.
Here are a few things I’ve been loving lately:
1. Lemon everything. Lemon dresses. Lemon pasta. Lemon candles. It feels like summer, and it reminds me of Sorrento.
2. Writing letters! I still have a few I’m lagging behind on, but it is such a joy to send and receive regular mail.
3. Isntree’s Hyaluronic acid watery sun gel 50spf for my face. Every damn day, without fail. Because it’s important.
4. I found the best dupe for Urban Decay’s Honey eyeshadow palette. It’s Wet N Wild’s Call Me Sunshine palette. It’s like $9.
5. The sky. (See below!)
