[KERMIT FLAIL] Who Wants a Poetry Collection?

Wellllll, I’ve got cool news! July 2026, I have a poetry collection coming out with CLASH Books! To say that I am hyped is an understand. I am a human Kermit flail! I am excited! And proud! And thrilled! With an undercurrent of ahhhhh, because oh my god, people are going to read a thing that I wrote! You know, typical Thursday thoughts.

Mad love to Eric Smith, the best agent/human/friend. I mean that. He’s a good one, and I am glad every day for our Neighborhood family.

Offerings for Ordinary Gods is a work of love, and there’s kind of a funny story behind it. But suffice to say, I’m just feeling all the feelings. All of them. They’re all mine now, sorry if anyone else wanted emotions today.

The folks at CLASH have been lovely. It’s been a great experience so far. [FLAIL] I will keep y’all posted and share everything I can, as I can.

A Few Bits and Bobs

Are you a member of World Con? Okay, there’s an important item up for business tomorrow (7/25 @9am PST/12pm EST), and it’s one dear to my heart: making poetry a permanent Hugo category. SFF poetry is obviously near and dear to my heart, and it should get the validation of a Hugo. Here’s a great explainer from Lynne Sargent at Strange Horizons.

One of my dear friend’s oldest and dearest friends is facing a hard cancer diagnosis. If you can, please kick in—and please share, either way.

Uncanny is holding its annual fundraising Kickstarter! It’s a great magazine, run by wonderful humans. And there’s poetry critique from me up for grabs as a reward.

Lastly, Eric, aforementioned agent extraordinaire, is holding his annual Philly Book Crawl. Everything he does is a labor of love for writers and community, and it’d mean a lot to me if you threw a few bucks in the till.
