A Few Bits and Bobs
Julia Rios, and a bunch of amazing writers, have put together an anthology to help Jessica Wick. I don’t know Wick personally, but she is a lovely writer and part of the SFF community. Let’s help her out, okay? Here is the direct link to the GoFundMe, as well. At the end of the day, we’re all just walking each other home, kittens.
My friend J. Holtham is making a cool comic. Monsters! Brooklyn! It is extremely my shit.
Hey, look. The Supreme Court did the right thing.
I’ve got a poem coming out in The Deadlands sometime soon. I’m very excited for you to read this one.
My friend Julia Whelan has a cool new venture, called Audiobrary. She is an actress and a narrator, and Julia wants narrators to get their fair share of revenue from the work they do. Currently, they do not, despite how profitable audiobooks are.
The CDC is at it again in terms of COVID booster accessibility. Please, please, please send in a comment here, stating that it should be freely available to everyone. We have until the 17th, I believe.
Finally, Practical Magic 2 is happening, and I cannot even tell you how excited I am. We need to gather a witchy coven and sneak appropriate snacks (brownies and midnight margaritas) into the theatre. Because yes. And that soundtrack better have more Stevie.
Until next time, kittens. XOXO
