RecAL targets smarter aluminium recycling across Europe
The EU Horizon Europe-funded RecAL project, led by the Austrian Institute of Technology with 19 partners from 9 European countries, is developing 14 circular amplification technologies and a digital RecAL Hub cockpit for aluminium recyclate traceability and sorting, targeting annual cost savings of at least €170 million across the European aluminium recycling sector.
