The fourth Sunday in Easter has attracted a number of names and traditions. In The Episcopal Church, it is Good Shepherd Sunday, where readings complement the 23rd Psalm. Simple but profound, and maybe in even revolutionary? Come celebrate with this Sunday!
Prayer lab this week
Things happen when this community prays together. This week at prayer lab, join us as we explore two practices. The first 15-20 minutes will be evening prayer in the Anglican tradition, in which we are guided by the collected wisdom of our ancestors in how we frame our approach to God. We will then spend a short time in a contemplative prayer exercise, and talk about it all while eating afterward. See you at Vrijburg at 18:00 on Thursday!
Upcoming Events
The first Thursday of every month, we will be guided in prayer by one of the different communities that worships at Vrijburg. In May, the Ethiopian Orthodox church is up! Please also be sure you have the bishop's visitation on your calendar (June 2).
Last Call for Munich
If anybody would like to go to Munich for the Academy of Parish Leadership, let us know this week. The Convocation will pay for most of the expenses, and we can help with the rest.
