Saturday, Oct 3: Malden Cosplay Celebration

I’ll be on a panel about how speculative fiction helps us find ourselves and imagine a better world! This is part of the Malden Cosplay Celebration which highlights different aspects of cosplay, like performance, photography, cosplay and more, and supports local businesses. The panel is hosted by Read My Lips Boston and Nebula Books, and my co-panelists include Makana Yamamoto, MJ Anthony, and Ryan Marie Ketterer! I’ll be there in my Appa jacket, come say hi! Thursday, Oct 8: NYCC

I’ll be at NYCC on a panel similar to the one at SDCC, to talk all things Avatar! The panel includes Randy Ribay (author of the Roku books 🔥), James Mendez Hodes (game designer of Avatar Legends: The RPG) and Ben Wilgus (author of many of the Avatar comics)! After the panel, there will even be a book signing…!

Saturday, Oct 17: Boston Book Festival

I’ll be on a panel at the Boston Book Festival. The panel time and name are TBD, but it should be something about multi-generational family sagas with magical elements, of which The Phoenix Pencil Company should fit right in :) I’m particularly excited for this, as I’ve been attending BBF for ~10 years now as a reader, and can’t wait to contribute now as an author!
