I’m busy preparing for UK Games Expo at the end of next week!

I have a slot booked on Saturday afternoon (1:30–4:30pm) in the Playtest Zone—if you’re around, please come and say hi!

As well as some new card games, I’ll be bringing a new 3D tile-laying game that is coming on well!

Unguided playtests

For games that are further along in development, an important test is whether players can learn and enjoy them just from the rules—without me there to teach them.

I have two games ready for unguided tests: Clockatoos and Bloom Time (click for short videos). If you’d like to test either or both, please reply to this email and I’ll send further instructions. I can either post the games to you (within the UK), or if you’re attending UKGE we can arrange to meet and hand them over there.

As a thank-you, I run a prize draw where one playtester will win a free copy each time one of my games is published (first game coming in October 2026!)
