I’m going to assume that you, like me, are actively concerned about the upcoming election. 

Over the years I’ve gotten to know quite a few of you, and I’ve learned that I have a type: hyper-literate; mild to moderately anxious on a good day; charming as all get out; possessing an understated, mysterious beauty. (I’m either pandering or flirting, I’m not sure which.) So I think this assumption is a pretty safe one. 

Anyway, My point being, Look. Hey. This is a scary time, yes? But we’re going to get through it. First of all, if you haven’t already, may I recommend voting? Vote early! We voted on Sunday (please applaud) and it felt great, for a few minutes. (Look, a few minutes of relief is not nothing.)
