orientation at stevens
work
I had my faculty orientation this week! I'm nervous and excited to start the new job. I'm a little worried there's going to be a lot for me to handle, but it was nice to meet the new faculty before we officially get started. They were all really nice, and the orientation encouraged me even more about the future of Stevens. It seems like there's a great and close-knit community in the undergraduate population and the research is growing at the university overall. My goal is to get as involved as possible and integrate into the community at Stevens and in Hoboken.
non-work
Outside of work, I had a lot going on too. My partner and I went into the city a couple of times to meet friends for drinks. I really like having the chance to get to see my friends when they're passing through and hear what other people are going through. Also, later today, we're going to start fostering a second cat! Assuming he gets along with our first cat, we'll officially adopt him in a few weeks.

questions
How is machine unlearning related to credit attribution for generative content? Does the ability to do one imply the ability to do the other?
Thanks for reading to the end! Here’s a picture of the kitten we’re trying to adopt:
