Things I Have Enjoyed & Learnt 025
It has been a while since the last one of these. I don't think I stopped enjoying and learning things, so apologies.
Things I Have Enjoyed
Ice cream vans. You can take your organic little-tiny-black-specks vanilla and shove it; Mister Softee is elite.
A (horrible) alternative phonetic alphabet.. I tried asking AI to design a new phonetic alphabet that would work better internationally and it did a terrible job.
Final Destination: Bloodlines. It was time for another one and this one was much better than the last two or three at least.
A floating buoy suspended in space, its movements controlled by real-time data from an Atlantic counterpart. Satellite transmissions drive motors that recreate its motion, bringing the rhythm of the sea into the space.
I love the idea of journeying as close to a line of latitude of longitude as possible. This is really impressive.
It is as if you were on your phone
The insane trailer for Megan 2.0. I hope the third one is called Megan 3.11 or Megan NT.
A very impressive short film: Trains.
The Power of the Calibration Lager. I'm a big fan of Boak & Bailey's stuff.
We do probably need to Legalise AC.
The soundtrack (but not the movie) by Flying Lotus for his movie ASH.
Things I Have Learnt
The incredible scale of solar in China.
The correct name for that thing you've seen sometimes in books? A témoin, or witness.
The End
Hopefully not so long until the next one.
