Alberta’s beloved Basket Weaving Retreat is back for its third year, and we’d love for you to be a part of it! Come immerse yourself in the peaceful and creative world of weaving, and connect with fellow crafters in the beautiful setting of Aspen Ridge Greenhouses, on Treaty 6 land.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced weaver, there’s something for everyone:

• Beginner Workshops: If you’re new to weaving, we offer hands-on, beginner-friendly workshops where you can learn the basics and create your first basket.
• Advanced Projects: For those with more experience, explore exciting new techniques and projects designed to challenge and inspire you.

This is more than just a crafting event—it’s a chance to relax, unwind, and create something meaningful with your hands. The retreat offers a welcoming community, expert instructors, and a chance to make lasting memories.

December was a whirlwind of activity, and we want to take a moment to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who taught, participated in, and supported the growth of basketry in Alberta!
