Call for links
Hi everyone!
I don't have my copy of Settler Militarism: World War II in Hawai'i and the Making of US Empire by Juliet Nebolon yet. It'll arrive in a couple of days, so I'm going to push back our start date by a week.
In the meantime, how about we share works by Palestinians this week?
If you have something by Palestinians to share, I'd like to hear about it. It can be any format - essays & academic papers; art & photography; poetry; films; youtube videos, tiktoks, & instagram reels; music; etc... - so please don't hesitate to share.
You can reach out in a number of ways:
- on signal: ali.01
- on bluesky: @ali-alkhatib.com
- on twitter: @_alialkhatib
- on mastodon: @ali@masto.al2.in
- on email: hi@al2.in (or reply to this email)
I'll share a list of links to check out on Monday, and we can chat on Signal and next Saturday about whatever we decided to check out.
In a week we'll get back to our regular programming and begin reading Settler Militarism.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Thanks for improvising with me.
(PS: if you haven't ordered Settler Militarism yet... you should order it now!)
