Random Curation

Mary had a little lamb,
She also had a bear.
I’ve often seen her little lamb,

NB: This may well be the lost original wording of the first audio recorded by Thomas Edison on his freshly invented phonograph in 1877. The French, however, were the first to press a disc. In 1860 Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville laid down the definitive version of ‘Au Clair de la Lune’. This tune should in no way be confused with the rather more adventurous ‘By the Light of the Silv'ry Moon’ made famous by Doris Kappelhoff.
