💣️ The U.S. government wants to inspect AI models before release
Google DeepMind, Microsoft, and xAI have agreed to provide the U.S. government with early access to their unreleased AI models for national-security testing.
The evaluations will be conducted through the Commerce Department’s Center for AI Standards and Innovation, which has already tested more than 40 models, including systems that were never publicly released.
The move is driven by concerns over advanced AI capabilities, particularly in cybersecurity and other national-security risks.

🤖 Genesis AI unveils robotics model built for human-level hand control
Genesis AI has introduced GENE-26.5, a new robotics model designed for tasks requiring highly precise hand movements and complex coordination.
The company developed a custom robotic hand and motion-capture glove that is roughly 100x cheaper than traditional systems, enabling humans to generate high-quality training data simply by performing tasks while wearing the glove.
In demonstrations, robots powered by GENE-26.5 successfully cracked eggs, sliced tomatoes, conducted lab experiments, solved Rubik’s Cubes, and played piano with impressive fluidity.
