🔥OpenAI Accuses Anthropic of $8B "Revenue Inflation"
OpenAI’s Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser stated in an internal memo that Anthropic is overstating its $30 billion annual run rate by approximately $8 billion by recording gross revenue from sales routed through cloud partners AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
While both gross and net accounting methods comply with U.S. GAAP, OpenAI maintains that its net reporting approach for Microsoft sales more closely aligns with public-company standards — a distinction that could prove significant as both companies prepare for potential IPOs.
Ramp corporate card data shows Anthropic now holds 30.6% of enterprise AI-paying customers compared to OpenAI’s 35.2%, with a projected market share crossover expected within the next two months, adding context to the timing of Dresser’s memo.

Lovable has launched Lovable Payments, a new built-in feature that allows users to monetize their AI-generated websites directly through chat.

After enabling the Payments integration and completing compliance details, the agent automatically handles the storefront and checkout process.
The system also provides real-time analytics through chat, including Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), regional sales data, and performance insights.

🛰️ Amazon buys Globalstar for $11.6B to rival Starlink
Amazon has announced the acquisition of satellite communications company Globalstar for $11.5 billion, paying $90 per share in cash.
The deal is intended to significantly strengthen Amazon’s position in the satellite internet market and accelerate its ability to compete with Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starlink.
Amazon recently rebranded its satellite internet project from Project Kuiper to Leo and has already launched more than 240 low-Earth orbit satellites since April 2025, with partners including United Launch Alliance and SpaceX.
The company first revealed plans six years ago to build a large constellation of thousands of satellites to deliver high-speed, low-latency internet to consumers, businesses, and governments using compact, square-shaped user terminals.

👑 Meta overtakes Google in global ad revenue
Meta is projected to overtake Google as the world’s largest digital advertising company by the end of 2026, according to Emarketer’s latest forecast.
Meta is expected to generate $243 billion in global ad revenue, slightly ahead of Google’s projected $239.5 billion.
Meta’s ad revenue is forecasted to grow at 24.1% in 2026 — nearly double Google’s 12% growth rate — while Google’s share of global digital ad spending has been steadily declining since 2021.
Emarketer analysts attribute Meta’s strong performance to its advanced advertising tools such as Advantage+ and AI-generated creative, noting that advertisers are prioritizing measurable results over legal or reputational concerns.
