🧠 Anthropic Launches Claude Opus 4.8
Anthropic just released Claude Opus 4.8, a major upgrade that dramatically improves coding, agentic tasks, reasoning, and knowledge work.
The model is now live across all Claude endpoints and the API as claude-opus-4-8, with regular pricing unchanged and a new fast mode up to 2.5× faster and far more affordable.
It’s four times less likely to miss flaws in its own generated code and shows significantly lower rates of misaligned behavior during complex agentic work.
