⚡PJM 28/29 capacity auction clears at $325 cap, 6,831 MW short of reliability target
PJM's 2028/2029 Base Residual Auction procured 138,318 MW at the $325/MW-day price cap — down 2.5% from 27/28's $333.44 — and fell 6,831 MW short of its reliability requirement, holding a 14.7% reserve margin as PJM forecast a 164,078 MW peak for today.
