It's been a great first year for AGT NYC! Thank you for being a part of it. Much more is planned ahead.

For this last newsletter of 2025, I've put together a curated collection of the best resources from this year. It should be a decent snapshot of where agents are and where they're going. Check it out here.

Looking towards 2026, I'm following a few themes:

• General agents emerging from coding agents like Claude Code
• Agent framework wars ending in consolidation, with libraries becoming key parts of agent products
• The dust around AI agents settling down and the space moving from disillusionment to productivity
• Simulation and environments gathering more attention and being used for training agents
• Standards emerging for agent identity and payments, enabling economic autonomy for agents
