Autumnal greetings, friends!
I guess I’m reverse trick-or-treating you a little bit today, knocking on your door and offering you something sweet.
Brian and I just released four new songs on an EP we’re calling Nice Boys. It’s available to download or stream on our Bandcamp page now.
For the first time in close to a decade, we actually went into a real studio to do this one, rather than just setting up the four-track recorder and a couple mics on our living room floor. We recorded with Vijay Tellis-Nayak at Transient Sound in Chicago.
Because we knew we could trust his ears (and the top-notch tech in the room), we went ultra-simple with the arrangements. So it’s just acoustic guitars and vocals (with a little bit of harmonica thrown in for effect on one track).
