Gm,
For this week, everyone should have a crypto wallet (desktop). This step is very important, and if you are struggling, please direct message me.
Action for this Week
Download the Brave web browser (not mandatory but highly recommended) Go to this link to create your wallet (your passport to interact with the blockchain): https://metamask.io/
What is a Cryptocurrency Wallet?
To simplify, let me use the analogy of the internet. In Web2.0, to interact with any application (Instagram, Facebook, Gmail, online bank, etc.), you need an email address. This email address gives you access to the application.
If you LOSE your password, you can no longer access your email or the application. If someone STEALS your password, that person can access your email or banking account.
The power of a wallet is that it gives you complete control of everything you do on the blockchain.
WARNING: You must write down and store your private key in a safe place. If you lose it, you'll lose everything associated with that address.
Here is a more detailed definition: https://www.coinbase.com/learn/crypto-basics/what-is-a-crypto-wallet.
Have a great week,
Gm,
Bravo to people who created their first wallet. If you haven't please do so as it is your passport to the Web3.0.
DeFi
The subject for this week is Decentralized Finance:
DeFi refers to a new financial system that operates on a decentralized, blockchain-based infrastructure, rather than relying on traditional financial intermediaries like banks and exchanges.
DeFi aims to provide open, transparent, and permissionless financial services to anyone with an internet connection.

TLDR. I am closing the WhatApp group in 4 weeks and moving to new platform.
It's been already 4 weeks!
I hope you enjoyed it and learn something.
For this week, they will be no new material.
I received a request from the community to have the possibility to discuss and exchange. So I have created a community group on discord.
I will no longer post on WhatsApp and the WhatApp group will be deleted in 4 weeks. If you are still interested to learn about Web 3.0. below are the link to join Discord.

Gm!
For this week. I would love you to introduce a platform where you can learn about different blockchain procotol, explore and start practicing.
Please register to both platform. Once done, please let me know I will give you Advanced role on the Discord channel where I share curated task.
Have a wonderful week!
Good morning!
This week, I would like to introduce one of the most important infrastructures bridge for blockchain, called bridge.
A bridge is a connection that allows two different blockchain networks to communicate with each other and exchange assets.
You can think of each blockchain as an island, with its own rules, money, language, and so on. A crypto bridge is the term for the networked route connecting these two islands.
In a previous week (Feb 27, 2023), we talked about gas fees. If you have interacted with the Ethereum Mainnet network (Layer 1), you have probably noticed that gas fees can be very expensive. To understand this in more detail, please refer to the following sections:
Bridges facilitate communication between Layer 1 and Layer 2.
To add a new blockchain to your wallet, refer to this list:
