May Updates!
I hope everyone had a good April without too many showers. Now, it’s onto May and some flowers. I certainly plan on getting my porch garden set up soon. I’m really looking forward to buying flowers and seeds. It’s always so exciting to go to a garden centre and see all the plants just waiting to be picked up!
Now, it’s time for some writing updates! I have a very exciting release announcement this month, so keep reading to find out all about it!
Release Announcement: Midnight
I’m very excited to announce I’m releasing another poetry collection on June 8th! It’s currently available to pre-order digitally everywhere and in print from select retailers.
This collection was mostly written during the first few weeks of the Toronto lockdown in March 2020. Back then, I was in a very creative, positive space. I found working from home quite energizing compared to taking transit every day to the office. It left me with a lot of time after work to dedicate to my hobbies and my writing. I worked on sewing projects, wrote poems, reviewed some of my music compositions.
And then, the lockdown was extended. And extended. And extended. Needless to say, my mood is quite different now than it was back then. My creative well is not nearly as full, either. But I decided to dust off those poems and make them into something. I also included some older poems I never found a home for. And here we are!
I’ve decided to offer newsletter subscribers a free e-copy of Midnight as a thank-you for your support. If you’re interested in obtaining a copy, reply directly to this email, and I will send you the download link. If you enjoy the collection, it would mean so much if you left a review on Amazon or your preferred book retailer. Reviews help authors so much!

I’m working on releasing a new track to my Bandcamp in May! If you’re interested in being notified when that drops, you can follow me there. I’m also working away on some short stories, which has been a lot of fun and has allowed me to stretch my creative skills further.
I hope you all have a lovely, peaceful May. Plant those flowers and enjoy the sunshine when it’s out. I’ll see you next month!
