June Updates!
I hope everyone had a lovely May! The weather has been up and down here in Toronto, going from scorching to freezing in the matter of days. It seems like we’re back to regular spring temperatures for this week at least, which is a welcome relief!
This month, I managed to get a few things done, and I have a few exciting announcements to make. Read on to see what I’ve been up to!
Author Updates
My novel We Go Together is part of this promotion featuring romances for 4.99 or less on Amazon! There are tons of titles and authors to discover here. You may find your next favourite read!
I also finished working on a short story! I had started out strong in writing it, but was struggling to complete it. I just couldn’t find the motivation to get it done, even though I could clearly see what I needed to do to finish it. Luckily, I had a friend read it over, and her enthusiasm in what I’d already written really helped me to push through the funk I was in and get it done! And I’m really happy with the result! I’m hoping I can get a couple other stories that I’d started within the last few months finished in the coming months.
Finally, I’m pleased to announce I am working on an audiobook for my first novel, I Knew Him! It’s still early days in production, so I don’t have much information on when it will be available, but I’ve locked down a narrator and I’m really excited to see what he does with the book! Over the years, I’ve had several people ask if I would ever produce an audiobook for this story, and I’m so happy I can finally say “yes!” the next time someone asks.
A reminder Midnight will be released on June 8th! If you’d like a free ebook copy, simply reply to this email, and I’ll send one your way. If you’d like the paperback, here are the links to purchase it!

Music Updates
I’m so pleased to announce a short film I did music for will be premiering at the Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival. Will O Wisps is directed by Peter de Niverville and is an experimental short. It was a very fun, whimsical project to work on! Check out the lineup and purchase a viewing pass here.
I’ve also been editing old scores and arrangements from back when I was a young(er) composer. It’s been really fun to go back, question what the heck I was thinking, and find ways to fix areas that had always bothered me. I’m hoping to make these scores available someday, once I’m satisfied with them.
Thank you all for reading! I hope you have a nice month of June, full of sunshine and good vibes. See you next week!
