Happy New Year!
Hello everyone! Welcome to 2023!
I hope you all had a nice holiday season, full of family and relaxation. This Christmas, I was able to visit my family out East. It was my first time being home for Christmas since 2019, so it was really special. I reconnected with some friends from high school and university, ate lots of good food, and relaxed.
I also got a few new head shots done, thanks to my mom Barbara Safran. Here’s a couple!
Beyond 2022
Looking back, this past year was pretty chaotic. My workplace is undergoing some changes, and I also was hired into a new role. Change is good, and I’ve enjoyed acquiring new skills, but it didn’t leave me a lot of time or energy to work on my own projects as much as I would have liked.
But now, looking forward, I’m excited for what’s to come. I’ve set up an editor to help me with my third book, and we’re scheduled to begin this spring. My first order of business before that happens is to go over the manuscript a final time and update a few things before I send them the manuscript.
I also have another manuscript I wrote back in 2020 that I would like to, at the very least, look at again. I want to keep my goals realistic, so my main focus will be the third novel this year, but it might be nice to reread the manuscript and get reacquainted with the characters.
