baby steps

right now i am alive for my children who are growing so quickly and who will leave, and so soon! it’s normal, i don’t begrudge it, and when they are gone i will live for the cat who is sometimes so affectionate and other times indifferent, i don’t mind, it’s the way of cats, and when i have no cat (unbearable thought) i will live for the dandelions, everyone hates them, they fuck up your lawn, but i don’t care, if anything exemplifies inat for me it’s them and my heart raises a cheer every time i see them, their stupid yellow heads, no one ordered them and here they are anyway, i cheer: i say great job everyone, we’re doing it, keep going.
