Friday Chatter: Hard Science
Everything Is True
Ada Hoffmann's author newsletter
This week’s book review was a work of hard science fiction, full of detail about marine biology and neuroscience. You might think, given the stereotypes of autistic people working in STEM, that we would write a lot of hard science fiction, but it’s actually a genre that I rarely find myself reviewing. (Which is not to say, of course, that there aren’t plenty of closeted hard SFF authors that I simply don’t know about! Or non-closeted ones that I haven’t gotten to…)
Do you like a lot of realistic, detailed science in your fiction? Which sciences are your favorites?
