The (infamous) acupuncture pie chart

Acupuncture Buzz

(seeking your input/feedback – please write back :)

I recently posted this to Acupuncturists on Facebook:

See the conversation

A bit earlier in the month, I posted this to the group:

See the conversation

Which, to my delight, got lots of positive feedback, with many people interested in contributing.

Around 5 years ago I launched Acupuncture Buzz — an online publication meant to increase awareness of acupuncture/EAM and strengthen our voice.

But, I made a mistake: I didn’t involve you in the making of this resource.

So I’d like to give it another try.

The reality is, we don’t currently have the resources – from our associations, from the schools, or even from a charismatic and generous Hollywood actor who loves acupuncture – to launch an effective PR campaign.

But that’s okay.

A collaborative, grassroots approach can be just as effective… if enough of us contribute.

And true, an online resource isn’t the only answer, but it’s a great & doable starting point.

So, as I’ve done on Facebook, I’m putting some feelers out there – starting with this:

  • “Is Acupuncture Buzz even a good name?” (I’m attached, I’ll admit it ;)

    • Acupuncture for SEO-friendly gateway to the WHOLE medicine, and Buzz for the double-entendre “news-worthy” + "blissed-out feeling” you get from acupuncture

  • and, Would YOU be willing to contribute a quote, an expert opinion, stories of healing (i.e. patient-friendly case studies)?

» Just hit reply - I’ll read everything you write me.

Thanks for reading & I hope to hear back,

Kim Neumann
